Sydney's Qantas First Class Lounge is a lounge certainly in a league of its own. Defined by opulent detailing, Swiss Quartz flooring, American Oak framing, A Payot Day Spa and a Neil Perry inspired restaurant; each helping to create a luxurious and indulgent surrounding.
On departure you are left with the feeling of sheer relaxation as you board for your next flight out of Sydney. One might say the most perfect way to start any travel.

Amazing! Did you fly first class?
ReplyDeleteI am visiting Bangkok and Phuket later this year- any tips on where to shop!?
How exciting!! Thailand is insane!!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to Phuket but I can tell you a few places to go when you're in Bangkok. Firstly go to the street markets... they are in most areas of Bangkok. If you ask the hotel you're staying at they will tell you where the street markets are closest to you. The markets are full of thai jewellry, food stalls, clothing and lots of sunglasses.
For shopping definitely go to:
-MBK: great for faux designer bags, electronics and clothing
-Siam Paragon Mall: Has to be the NUMBER ONE place to shop when you are in Bangkok. It's full of high end designers... from clothing to shoes, to luxury cars and home-wears. Definitely devote a whole day to SPM. The department store is massive and worth a days visit.
One tip when you're at MBK or street markets is to barter with the shop keepers.. most of them try to sell you products more expensive then they really are.. so don't be afraid to ask for a cheaper price.
HAVE an insane time!!
